Cesare Torelli Romano was an Italian painter. He was born in Rome and studied under Giovanni de' Vecchi. He was active during the time when Paul V was the Pope. He worked as a painter and a mosaic artist in the Vatican library and at the Scala Santa in San Giovanni in Laterano. He painted two Sibyls in the church of the Madonna dell'Orto in Venice. He died in 1615.
A sculptor with the same name was active in late 19th-century Florence. He specialized in creating small sculptures of everyday scenes.
