Michael Ben-Or (Hebrew: מיכאל בן-אור) is an Israeli computer scientist. He holds the Jean and Helena Alfassa Professorship in computer science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research areas include computer science theories, how computers work together, making systems reliable, secret codes, and computing with tiny particles called quantum bits.
