Susanne Graf was born on August 15, 1992, in Berlin. She is a German politician and a member of the Pirate Party Berlin, which is part of the national Pirate Party. In the Berlin state election on September 18, 2011, she was elected to the Berlin state parliament. She served one term until 2016 and did not seek re-election.

Biography

Graf attended a high school called "berufliches Gymnasium" in Mühlhausen. This type of school combines regular classes with hands-on training in a technical job, as part of a system known as the dual education system. In the summer of 2011, Graf graduated from high school and earned a diploma. She also completed an apprenticeship in information technology. Afterward, she was accepted into the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft to study mathematical economics.

While in high school, Graf was a member of the Chaos Computer Club. At age 16, she learned about the Pirate Party while researching for a school project. She joined the Pirate Party in 2009 and became the vice president of its youth organization in 2010. In 2011, she ran as a candidate for the Pirate Party in the Berlin state election. She was elected to the parliament on September 18, 2011.
