Branko Mikša

Branko Mikša (born February 13, 1947) is a retired Croatian politician. He served as Minister of Trade in 1992 and as Minister of Tourism and Trade from 1992 to 1993. Later, he became the Mayor of Zagreb from April 1993 to March 1996 after winning the 1993 local election.

During his time as mayor, the Importanne Center and a Sheraton hotel in Zagreb were built. The Ante Starčević, Petar Preradović, and King Tomislav Squares in Donji Grad were renovated. At the same time, Medvedgrad, an old fortress near Sljeme, underwent renovation.

From 1997 to 1998, Mikša was the president of the Croatian Football Federation.
