Christos (Christoforos) Kozyrakis (Greek: Χρίστος (Χριστόφορος) Κοζυράκης) was born in 1974. He is a professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Stanford University. At Stanford, he leads the multi-scale architecture and systems team (MAST).

At Stanford, he leads the multi-scale architecture and systems team (MAST). His research focuses on using computer resources wisely in cloud computing, creating energy-efficient systems for computing and memory, and designing technology that supports security.

Kozyrakis received the 2015 ACM Maurice Wilkes Award for his work on transactional memory systems. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, with guidance from David A. Patterson. He also holds a B.Sc. degree from the University of Crete. He is a member of both the IEEE and ACM fellowships.
