Hervé Le Marchand, born on May 1, 1960, and died on January 3, 2023, was also known by the stage name Mimosa. He was a French humorous magician.
Biography
Le Marchand was a student at École Centrale Paris, where he was part of the circus and magic club. He graduated in 1985 after participating in the Gala des grandes écoles. After graduation, he worked as a computer engineer while continuing to practice magic.
In 1989, Le Marchand won first prize at the Festival mondial du cirque de demain in Paris. He then focused on magic full-time, earning circus awards in Geneva and Norway.
Le Marchand was married to a Thai woman and spent three months each year in Japan. He passed away in Paris on January 3, 2023, at the age of 62.
